Artists Memberships

ASSOCIATE ARTIST MEMBERSHIP

The $40 Associate Artist Membership applicant can pay their dues online or submit a membership application by mail.

Applicants are asked to submit examples of recent work: 3 digital images.

If you would like to share examples of recent works, please send the digital images to skamman@hoosiersalon.org and include identification information about the examples.

BENEFITS:

• Eligible for large group exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• 5% discount on purchases of original art from the New Harmony gallery.
• Eligible to enter the annual exhibition if the member has been an Indiana residency for at least one year.
• Eligible to enter special member exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• Option to apply for consignment gallery benefits at the New Harmony gallery if the applicant has been accepted to at least one juried Hoosier Salon Annual Exhibition. Final approval is at the discretion of the gallery manager. (Artist commission is 60%)
• Discount on Hoosier Art Salon sponsored workshops.
• E-blasts, invitations and other notifications about events, exhibits, classes, and other programs presented by the Hoosier Art Salon or our partners.
• Inclusion in the annual exhibition catalog member list and live link on the online Hoosier Art Salon artist roster.

SIGNATURE ARTIST MEMBERSHIP

The $65 Signature Artist Membership is open to current or past Hoosier Art Salon members who work in any medium and who have been accepted by jurors to 3 or more Hoosier Art Salon Annual Exhibitions. 

Applicants for membership can pay their dues online or submit a membership application by mail.

BENEFITS:

• Eligible to sign his or her artwork created during the membership year with the designation “HSSA”
• Eligible to submit art on consignment to the New Harmony gallery. Signature Members are guaranteed space and are asked to submit a minimum of four works per membership year. (Artist commission is 60%).
• Eligible for small group exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• 10% discount on purchases of original art from the New Harmony gallery.
• Eligible to enter the annual exhibition if the member has been an Indiana residency for at least one year.
• Eligible to enter member exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• Discount on Hoosier Salon sponsored workshops.
• E-blasts, invitations and other notifications about events, exhibits, classes, and other programs presented by the Hoosier Salon or our partners.
• Inclusion in the annual exhibition catalog member list and live link on the online Hoosier Art Salon artist roster.

STUDENT ARTIST MEMBERSHIP

The $25 Student Artist Membership is open to art students currently enrolled in a full-time academic program with an accredited college or university. 

If you would like to share examples of recent works, please send the digital images to info@hoosiersalon.org and include identification information about the examples.

BENEFITS:

• Eligible to enter the annual exhibition if the member has been an Indiana residency for at least one year.
• Eligible for group student exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• Discount on Hoosier Art Salon sponsored workshops.
• 5% discount on purchases of original art from the New Harmony gallery.
• E-blasts, invitations and other notifications about events, exhibits, classes, and other programs presented by the Hoosier Salon or our partners.

YOUNG ARTIST MEMBERSHIP

Young Artist Membership is designed to encourage young artists in K-12 programs in Indiana schools. Anyone can buy a Young Artist Memberships for students and special invitations to the Hoosier Art Salon will be extended to those young people.

• E-blasts, invitations and other notifications about events, exhibits, classes, and other programs presented by the Hoosier Salon or our partners.
• Eligible for group student exhibitions at the New Harmony gallery.
• Discount on Hoosier Art Salon sponsored workshops.
