Thank you to the artists members who entered the 100th Annual Hoosier Art Salon Exhibition at the Indiana State Museum!

Congratulations those who were accepted into the 100th Annual Hoosier Art Salon Exhibition at the Indiana State Museum!

One hundred and forty-three works were selected by the judges Jill Stefani Wagner and Qiang Huang from 675 entries by 264 artists. This was a record number! 

The exhibition will be displayed in the Richard E. Ford Gallery, one of ISM’s premiere exhibition spaces. The exhibition will be on view to the public from August 24 – October 20, 2024

The Awards and Preview Event will be held on Thursday, August 22 from 6-10 pm. Exhibiting artists and one guest are invited to attend at no charge. As our special guest, you will receive an invitation with details closer to the event date.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Create your identification labels by using the link below. PRINTABLE ID LABELS.  Clearly and securely identify your work by attaching a label to the upper left corner of 2-D works, or bottom of 3-D works.

DELIVER TO THE INDIANA STATE MUSEUM at the ADMIN DOCK / 721 West Wabash Street / Indianapolis, IN 46204. The West Loading Dock is attached to the Indiana State Museum’s Administrative Building (not the Museum Building that faces Washington St.)

Please contact Traci Cromwell, Director of Collections, at 317-234-1719 or by cell phone at 317-496-5745, if you have trouble finding the West Loading Dock. DO NOT DELIVER TO THE PUBLIC ENTRANCE of the Indiana State Museum. THE MUSEUM STAFF WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED TO TAKE YOUR WORK.

HAND DELIVERIES – Thursday, July 25 – Saturday, July 27, 9am to 5pm. For sculpture pieces, artists are asked to take packing material with them.

LAST DAY TO DELIVER IN PERSON – Saturday, July 27 by 5pm.

SHIPPED DELIVERIES:

You may ship work to the INDIANA STATE MUSEUM, ADMIN DOCK 721 West Wabash Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204 to the attention of museum registrar, Kevin Whaling for arrival following notification through Saturday, July 27.  If your work is to be returned via shipping, please provide a pre-paid return shipping label with your package.

Please tell us as soon as possible if you cannot meet the delivery schedule above.

RETURN:
Work will be returned using a similar process on Monday–Wednesday, October 21 – 23, 2024. Please hold time on your schedule to pick up your work. If you fail to pick up your work, you will be invoiced and your work will be shipped to you. No exceptions.
